Seakeeper Ride in Hawai‘i
ONE HELL OF A RIDEPacific Boats & Yachts offers Seakeeper Ride installation and support from our facility at Honokōhau Harbor in Kona. Designed to improve comfort, control, and performance while underway, Seakeeper Ride helps you get more out of every day on the water.
Whether you’re heading offshore or running in changing conditions, it’s something you feel right away.

What is Seakeeper Ride?
Seakeeper Ride is a Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS) designed to improve how your boat runs through the water.
Using proprietary inertial sensing hardware, software, and rapid-response rotary blades, the system continuously adjusts to control pitch, roll, and running attitude while underway.
The system operates automatically—there are no manual adjustments required. It works in real time, helping the boat maintain a more stable, predictable ride as conditions change.
Why It Matters in Hawai‘i
Boating in Hawai‘i often means long runs offshore, changing conditions, and afternoon wind chop.
Seakeeper Ride is designed to improve performance in exactly those situations.
- Smoother runs offshore
- Reduced impact in chop
- Improved comfort for passengers and crew
- More consistent handling as conditions shift
Experience It On the Water
The best way to understand Seakeeper Ride is to experience it firsthand. The difference is something you feel immediately once you’re underway—especially in offshore conditions where ride quality matters most.
If you’re considering Seakeeper Ride for your boat, we can walk you through the system and discuss opportunities to experience it in real-world conditions.

Seakeeper Ride on Scout Boats & Steiger Craft
Seakeeper Ride is not just an aftermarket upgrade—it is already being integrated into many of today’s leading offshore boats.
Scout Boats offers Seakeeper Ride as a standard feature on select models, reflecting how quickly the system has become part of modern boat design.
Steiger Craft offers Seakeeper Ride across much of its lineup, with the system standard on the 255 Miami. For boats built to run in real-world offshore conditions, it’s a natural fit.
As a dealer for both Scout Boats and Steiger Craft, we work with Seakeeper Ride in both factory-installed and retrofit applications. That gives us a practical understanding of how the system performs across different hull designs and use cases.
Seakeeper Ride vs. Traditional Trim Tabs
Traditional trim tabs have been used for years to help adjust running angle, but they require constant manual input and react more slowly to changing conditions.
Seakeeper Ride is fundamentally different.
- Operates automatically with no manual adjustment required
- Continuously adapts in real time as conditions change
- Helps maintain a consistent running attitude without constant input
- Provides a more stable and predictable ride
The result is a system that simplifies operation and improves overall comfort on the water.
Designed to Work Automatically
There are no settings to manage and no learning curve. The system operates automatically whenever the boat is underway.
