Justin's passion for the water began in Oregon, where he spent his early years fishing for trout in small lakes and chasing salmon offshore. Driven by a sense of adventure, he ventured to the Pacific Islands, gaining hands-on experience crewing on boats in Palau, Samoa, Fiji, and Hawaii. With a deep-rooted understanding of boating and a wealth of maritime knowledge, Justin transitioned to a sales broker role at Pacific Boats & Yachts. In 2018, he took the helm of the company when the previous owner retired. Under Justin's leadership, Pacific Boats & Yachts has thrived, becoming a leading brokerage and new boat dealership in the Hawaii boating industry.

OwnerJimmy brings over 10 years of business management and marine business experience to Pacific Boats & Yachts.
Originally from Sacramento, CA, Jimmy spent his summer vacations in the cool waters of Central California and the warm waters of Hawaii. Jimmy completed his first scuba dive along the Kona Coast at the age of 14. Soon after, he started his career in the dive industry, gaining over ten years of experience in business management. While working, Jimmy also earned his Master’s in Accounting at California State University, Sacramento. Jimmy takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service without compromising speed or accuracy. His experience in business management and attention to detail make him a highly valued team member at Pacific Boats & Yachts.

Administrative CoordinatorRyan’s connection to the ocean began in Puako, where he grew up surfing and exploring vibrant reefs. By 16, he was running summer surf schools in California, and at 18, he began a distinguished 12-year career as an Ocean Lifeguard with the LA County Fire Department.
In 2008, Ryan joined Ocean Sports, quickly earning his 100-ton Master’s License and spending over a decade captaining large sailing catamarans. His expertise, charisma, and dedication to safety made him a trusted leader on the water.
In 2022, Ryan moved to Pacific Boats and Yachts overseeing the Vessel Management program, where his exceptional communication skills and passion for the ocean led to a swift rise to sales. Today, he’s one of the brokerage's top salesmen, helping clients turn their maritime dreams into reality.
Ryan Stevenson
BrokerMatt is a dedicated Vessel Concierge Coordinator with a passion for ensuring that every boat under his care is meticulously prepared and ready for your next adventure on the water. Originally from Paul Smiths, New York, Matt attended Eaglebrook School, a renowned preparatory school that helped shape his love for the outdoors and hands-on learning. He later pursued his education at the University of Puget Sound in Washington State, where he earned a BA in Studio Art with an emphasis on large-scale wood and metal sculpture.
In 2008, Matt made the move to Hawaii, drawn by the ocean and its endless possibilities. He quickly became a certified scuba instructor and has since logged over 5,000 dives. Matt also holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s license, a testament to his extensive experience and deep commitment to maritime safety and service.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys life in Hawaii with his wife and kid , embracing the island lifestyle and sharing his love for the ocean with his family. He also serves on the board of the Mālama Kai Foundation, an organization dedicated to the conservation and protection of Hawaii’s marine environment. The foundation plays a key role in the Day Use Mooring Program, which installs and maintains moorings to prevent anchor damage to coral reefs. Notably, the Mālama Kai Foundation has received support from the Grateful Dead, whose involvement has helped raise awareness and funds for the preservation of Hawaii’s unique marine ecosystems. Matt’s involvement with this program underscores his commitment to preserving the marine environments that make Hawaii such a special place.
Matt Bogdanovitch
Vessel ConciergeAs the son of avid boaters, Hunter grew up living aboard a sailing catamaran in the Caribbean. Thus began his interest in all things related to boats and this passion has followed him to the present day.
After then spending his high school and college years in landlocked Oklahoma followed by a stint in corporate America, Hunter yearned to get back to the water and involved in the world of boating. He now feels privileged to be a part of the Pacific Boats & Yachts team where he gets to do just that.
One of Hunter's favorite pastimes is researching various facets and minutiae of boats and related industries, which seems to be a never-ending endeavor.
When not at work or around boats Hunter enjoys walking his 4 dogs or working on various yard and house projects. He also enjoys exploring and observing the beautiful Hawaiian countryside.
