Garmin Marine Electronics in Hawai‘i

Complete systems. Designed and installed the right way.

Pacific Boats & Yachts provides Garmin electronics sales, installation, and system integration from our Kona facility. We focus on building clean, reliable systems that perform in real-world offshore conditions.

Whether you’re upgrading an existing setup or building out a new helm, our goal is simple—everything should work together and be easy to use on the water.

Why Garmin

Garmin systems are designed as a complete ecosystem. Displays, radar, sonar, autopilot, and engine data are built to integrate seamlessly and operate from a single interface.

The result is a system that is easier to use, more reliable, and better suited for offshore boating in Hawai‘i.

Why It Matters in Hawai‘i

Running boats in Hawai‘i often means long distances offshore, changing weather, and deep water conditions.

Reliable electronics are not optional—they are a core part of operating safely and efficiently.

Designed & Installed the Right Way

Garmin systems are only as good as the installation.

We focus on clean wiring, proper mounting, and long-term reliability so the system performs consistently every time you leave the harbor.

Complete Garmin Systems for Hawai‘i Boats

Most installations are not just individual components—they are complete systems designed to work together. We typically build electronics packages around offshore use, where reliability and simplicity matter most.

Displays & Helm Layout
Garmin GPSMAP 8000 and 9000 series displays form the foundation of most systems. We design helm layouts that are clean, functional, and easy to operate offshore.

Sonar & Transducers
Sonar selection depends on how the boat is used. In Hawai‘i, most setups are focused on offshore performance, with an emphasis on reliable depth tracking and fishfinding in deeper water. We help match the right sonar system to each boat based on how it is used.

Radar & Situational Awareness
Radar is a key tool offshore. We install radome and open array systems depending on the application, commonly used for locating bird activity, tracking weather, and navigating in low visibility.

Autopilot & Control
Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot systems help reduce workload and maintain consistent tracking offshore.

Communication Systems
Garmin VHF radios provide reliable communication and integrate with the rest of the system.

System Integration
We build connected systems using NMEA 2000 networks and Garmin Marine Network (BlueNet), allowing all onboard systems to communicate seamlessly. We can also integrate with most major outboard brands.

Audio Integration
Fusion marine audio systems can be integrated and controlled directly from Garmin displays.

Upgrades & New Builds

Whether you’re upgrading an older system or starting from scratch, we can design a setup that fits your boat and how you use it.
