Designed by legendary Hawaiian multihull pioneer Rudy Choy, SEASMOKE is one of the most iconic sailing catamarans to grace Hawaiian waters. Commissioned in 1966 by actor James Arness (Marshal Matt Dillon from Gunsmoke), C/S/K Catamarans was tasked with building “the fastest boat on the water.” The result was a groundbreaking catamaran that went on to dominate the 1968 Multihull Transpac, crossing the finish line an incredible day and a half ahead of the competition and cementing her place in multihull racing history.
Following an extensive 2022/2023 refit that included new Yanmar diesel engines, new standing rigging, hull fiberglass work, and numerous upgrades, she offers a rare opportunity to acquire an established commercial vessel with timeless Hawaiian heritage.
U.S. Coastguard Certified to carry up to 49 passengers (55 persons total) with a current USCG Certificate of Inspection valid through 2029, SEASMOKE is ready for continued commercial service or could easily be adapted for private cruising. Spacious deck areas, bow trampolines, shaded seating, and reliable modern systems make her equally suited for snorkeling adventures, sunset sails, whale watching, or private events throughout Hawaii and beyond!
